Thaddeus’ 4th Birthday

Its a …. DOG! (just in case you couldn’t tell!!) Definitely not my most impressive cake yet! – not that any of them have been exactly impressive, but this one WAS easy… it took 20 minutes to frost! It was a good day, even if Bryan missed the first part for our first open house day over at the COMPLETED condo! YEAH!!!

He got so many fun presents!! The kids all took turns with the foam rocket launcher we got him (you jump on it to make them shoot – pretty cool – and cheap!) and the dinosaur that roared… ALWAYS a winner! (and something to fight over – they were all 3 and 4ish year olds after all!) BUT the marble run was the favorite… we have one that is falling apart and is WELL loved and WELL used… for the last two years. The joy never grew old!! So here is the new and improved, all marbles still here marble run!

And I just had to take these pics of him and Grandpa standing at the door… he was happy to see him!

Cool marble run! I’m too afraid to get one. Once, a babysitter brought her marble run for the kids to play with. My gut feeling said to ask her not to get it out with them, but I thought I was being a fuddy-duddy, so I kept quiet. Then we get the call that everyone is OK and we don’t need to come home, but Silas sneaked a marble to bed with him and stuck it in his mouth. And choked. And the other kids came running because he was choking and then threw up –the marble and dinner. Praise God! And the babysitter had cleaned everything up and everyone was OK and calm and we could finish enjoying our date, but she just wanted us to know. So now I’m afraid of marble runs. 🙂

And, by the way, you sure do make a beautiful pregnant woman!! I have enjoyed the pictures of you and your growing belly.
